5 Kilo Sugar will be performing for a week at the Edinburgh fringe festival. We will be there for the first week of the festival between the 7-15 August at the Space on the Mile at 22.25 every night (for 8 performances only).
5 Kilo Sugar is back! We have a one off performance at the London Jewish Community Centre (LJCC) on the 16th November. This is a great chance for those who missed our past performances. Tik-sho-ret’s artistic director Ariella Eshed directed a short play (out of 6 plays) as part of a production titled “Do You Speak British?” at the Camden People’s Theatre. The production touches on subjects like immigration, nationalism and independence. Performance dates were 21st September and 22nd September.
5 Kilo Sugar had a successful one week run at the Tristan Bates Theatre. It was performed alongside “An Insomniac’s Guide to Ambulances”, directed by Rachel Creeger. The two shows form the double bill A Tale of Two Journeys. The one week run was concluded by an engaging post-show discussion on Saturday with the cast and director for 5 Kilo Sugar as well as director of “An Insomniac’s Guide to Ambulances”, Rachel Creeger. The company thanks all for their support and participation and look forward to bringing 5 Kilo Sugar to the stage again in the future!
5 Kilo Sugar was debuted in the United Kingdom at the Brighton Fringe Festival. It was performed at the Brighton Fringe Festival to the lovely audiences from both Brighton and around the UK. The full production of ‘Five Kilo Sugar’ by Gur Koren is going to be performed in Brighton fringe festival on the 27,28th of May at 8.30 at the Burrow at the Warren Theatre.
This will be followed by a London premiere of the show at the Tristan Bates Theatre from the 23rd -28th of June. It will be presented as a double bill with ‘An Insomniac’s Guide to Ambulances’ by Rachel Creeger.

The short play Baby Love written and directed by Ariella Eshed will be presented at the Actors centre as part of ‘Women in the arts’ event on the 17th of December at 3pm.
